Project Description

Construction work shall commence on a nursing home for a well known operator in January 2016, and will be completed by April 2017.

This is a greenfield construction and will include one hundred and one single ensuite bedrooms, approximately 5,100 square metres, and shall be fully compliant with HIQA residential standards for older people.

The home is adjacent to one of the largest primary care centres in the county, and co-location offers the benefits of easy access of healthcare professionals to the nursing home, such as GP’s, Pharmacy, nurses, physiotherapist etc.

The range of health services in the Primary Care is extensive, and this shall provide added comfort to residents of the nursing home.

Feasible’s role included the provision of services included compliance design advice, procurement of the project team, overall responsibility for project management including cost and quality control. Feasible also identified and secured agreement with the nursing home.
